The Games of Thrones Author has posted about his long-awaited novel “A Song of Ice and Fire,” and he also said that “it is a huge book.”
The best news for the fans in this pandemic period is that author George R. R. Martin has made significant progress with his book The Winds of Winter. The author updated the fans on his progress through his blog.
He said that he has been spending days hold up in a cabin and trying to finish on his book by the year 2021.
He also has said that “I have to confess, after half a year of pandemic, quarantine, and social distancing, I am showing signs of cabin fever… half of which is quite literal in my case,” he wrote. “Yes, I am in an actual cabin in the mountains. No, I have no fever. Yay! At least, I am healthy for an out-of-shape guy of 71, at least and doing all I can to stay that way.”
He also continued by saying that if nothing than the isolation has helped me focus better on writing my book The Winds of Winter.
He said that he has finished writing a new chapter a few days ago and is happy with the progress that the book is showing. It is a long book and will take a lot of time to complete the book, and he says he has a long way to go in finishing the book.
The author specifically teased a few characters from his Game of Thrones series, saying that he has been writing about Cersei Lannister, Asha Greyjoy, aka Yara, Tyrion Lannister, Ser Barristan Selmy, and Areo Hotah.
The author also said he felt sad that he couldn’t attend the 78th world science fiction tour in New Zealand. But the author wants to visit Wellington next year saying that hopefully by the then the COVID-19 pandemic and The winds of winter will be done.
The author is also an executive producer and co-creator on the Thrones prequel series, the House of Dragon. Universe cable is teaming up with HULU to develop two series on the wild card novels.
With this announcement, the excitement of the fans has been hitting the peaks, since his previous work on the Game of Thrones was splendid. And indeed the hopes from the novel The Winds of Winter has been increased.
