Singapore coronavirus Update-157 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore: On Tuesday, 157 new coronavirus infection cases were reported in Singapore, bringing the total number of people infected to 45,140 in the country. These include 137 foreign workers living in shacks. The Health Ministry said three infected people who had come from abroad were notified to stay home after arriving in Singapore.
The new community cases include 12 Singapore citizens and eight foreign citizens who are approved to work. The Ministry said: “In our preliminary investigation of these 20 cases, it was discovered that 12 people are close contacts with the first infected and had already been sent to separate residences. Epidemiological investigations are being brought out for other cases.

The Ministry has also provided a list of places visited by COVID-19 patients. Those who have visited those places should closely monitor their health two weeks from the day of the visit. Close contacts have been identified and also be classified, and there is no need to avoid those places as infections have been eliminated.
Infections in the community are on the rise, and 23 new cases were reported Monday. The Health Ministry said that on Monday, 276 more patients were discharged from isolated hospitals or community centers. So far, a total of 40,717 patients have fully recovered from the infection.
