Joe Biden’s State of the Union address was subjected to Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ blistering response; a combative criticism of the President as she responded to his speech Tuesday evening.
He was declared “unfit to serve as commander in chief” by Sarah Huckabee Sanders in her response to Biden’s State of the Union address. She described the political landscape of America to be in dire straits as Biden’s weakness had apparently put the great nation and the world at risk. “The dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy,” she said.
“At 40, I’m the youngest governor in the country, and at 80, he’s the oldest president in American history”, she said highlighting the generational difference with him. It was also asserted in her speech that the time was ripe for a new generation of Republican leadership.

The rapid elevation of Sanders’ was clearly highlighted in Tuesday’s speech as she had been sworn into elected office for the first time just a few weeks ago. But she isn’t your typical political neophyte as her father held the same office from 1996 to 2007. She has also served as press secretary in the Trump White House. She is also alleged to represent a certain class of Republicans who are attempting to marry Trumpism with traditional GOP orthodoxy.
One of her first acts as Governor of Arkansas was to garner national attention for a directive banning the term Latinx across Arkansas. She also brought up cultural war subjects that kept the conservatives abuzz and animated during the Biden years. She inveighed against leftist false idols and other conservative punching bags.
When this year’s “State of the Union” took place, the Republicans were newly in control of the House, and the GOP was trying to launch a congressional oversight investigation into Biden’s administration.
“In Washington, under the leadership of Senate Republicans and Speaker Kevin McCarthy, we will hold the Biden administration accountable,” Sanders said thereby giving a positive nod to the new political order in the nation’s capital.
Sanders also highlighted her service in the Trump administration and ties to the former president in her speech on Tuesday.
“During my two and a half years at the White House, I traveled on every foreign trip with the president,” she said and went on to remember a trip that took place on December 25, 2018.
“We landed in the war-torn part of western Iraq,” Sanders said, and described how hundreds of troops who were fighting against the ISIS had gathered in a dining hall to celebrate Christmas.
“They had absolutely no idea that the president and first lady were about to walk into that room,” she said. And when that happened, “the room erupted. Men and women from every race, religion, region, political party, every demographic you can imagine started chanting in perfect unison over and over and over again, “USA, USA, USA.”
She said the moment was an absolutely perfect picture of what made America such a great nation, remembering nostalgically.
