The debate between John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz is scheduled for 25 October 2022 and will be live-streamed at 8:00 PM. Both are running for the Senate seat of Pennsylvania that is being vacated by retiring Republican Sen. Pat Toomey. You can watch the debate on ReliefWatch as it will be live-streamed here.

It will be a face-to-face encounter between John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz after a long time, as Fetterman had a stroke recently, and because of that, he was avoiding public meetings and rallies.

Fetterman didn’t attend many rally meetings before the primary election, and so he promised that he would debate with Dr. Mehmet Oz. His campaign has confirmed that John does not miss any minor detail. They mentioned, “I have every ability to talk about all of these issues and have a full debate.”

In September, Fetterman canceled the debate with Dr. Oz and said he would mock and joke about his health. John also mentioned in an interview, “And that’s really just the one lingering issue of the stroke — that some of my hearing was damaged a little bit, but it’s continuing to get better and better and better every day.”

Mehmet Oz had mentioned in his previous debates, “We keep hearing that the Fetterman campaign is in debate talks with networks, the television veteran commented on social media last month. What networks? He won’t say. What terms? He won’t say. John Fetterman sure has a lot of people speaking for him but does very little speaking himself.”

According to the recent voting polls from Emerson College and The Hill, John Fetterman received around 43% support from the citizens, and statistically, the voting rates are the same as Dr. Mehmet Oz’s voting records in recent months.

Dasha Burns said that in a recent interview, John could see the screening questions after the episode of stroke. He was stuttering and was not able to see properly. According to John, he can see properly, and the stroke did not affect his cognitive thinking and also mentioned that doctors allowed and recommended that he can run for the Senate seat in this year’s election.

But some are finding it hard to believe as, in recent interviews, John was not able to see and talk properly as maybe the stroke affected his brain function, and he cannot handle another responsibility by becoming the new Senate.

Oz has also mentioned in recent interviews that he is a strong competitor and more reliable to become the Senate for Pennsylvania than John Fetterman. John was not active in the political rallies for three months, but the votes were in favor of John Fetterman.

John Fetterman also mentioned that it might take time to recover completely from the stroke as it affected some parts of his brain temporarily, but he will recover completely. However, John still believes that Dr. Mehmet Oz is a fraud and should not be running in the elections.
