According to an awful new analysis of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the symptoms of coronavirus stay with the patient for weeks even in those people who have a mild infection from the virus.

Reportedly, CDC did their survey on 292 people who tested positive for novel coronavirus, among those, 35% of patients said that they are still struggling to retain their usual good health even after 3 weeks of being tested positive. The CDC informed that while the senior citizens were more prone to prolonged symptoms of the virus, however, even the young folks with mild COVID-19 infections have complained of feeling unwell for a long time period.
The new findings regarding how the virus affects patients come after the Johns Hopkins University’s data revealed that over 4.1 million coronavirus cases along with 145,546 deaths have been reported in the US.

Talking about the claims by some companies over the availability of the vaccine before year-end, Fauci said that it’s doubtful, however, anything is possible.
Meanwhile, the former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Thomas Frieden said that if the vaccine will be available, still it will be difficult for the public to agree to accept it as we are having an anti-vaccine movement going on right now. It’s been months since the virus has hit the US, however, still, the states across the nation are setting new records for infections and deaths on a daily basis.
As per the update from the respective state’s health department: Oregon where masks are compulsory both indoors and outdoors has recorded nine deaths on Friday due to COVID-19, which is the highest in the state. California has also reported 159 deaths from coronavirus in a day on Friday which is again the highest. Georgia has recorded 4,813 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday which is the highest rise in a day since the pandemic began.
With the rise in the coronavirus cases, many measures are being taken by local leaders to protect the citizens from the coronavirus. While New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is charging from bars and restaurants for coronavirus violations, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves has announced restrictions on gatherings, public places like bars, restaurants, etc. on Friday. Meanwhile, CDC has released new guidelines on Thursday to make it hard for the school to reopen.
