Not Ventilators but this magical machine: The discovery of a vaccine for the treatment of coronavirus is currently going on, but many important things are coming out in this process.
The study showed that Corona, a machine that increases the amount of oxygen in the blood, is playing an important role in the treatment of patients.
West Virginia University has concluded this after research in several hospitals. A study involving 32 patients with an extra-membrane oxygenation machine was done.
Not Ventilators but this magical machine can be used to cure COVID-19 affects in The USA
The study found that 17 out of 32 people were on the machine after 24 days, while five had to be removed. That is, 68% of people benefited from it.
Benefit more than other cures
This machine is used for heart and lung disease and works to deliver oxygen to the blood of humans, which provides relief to the heart and lungs.
The patients on which this study was done did not benefit from any other treatment. The study found that two-thirds of patients’ lives could be saved when the machine was used. Japan’s Reachers first claimed this.
Expensive but effective
The machine was used to treat patients stranded on the Diamond Princess Ship in Yokohama. These machines are quite expensive, so they are not used in every hospital and cannot even replace ventilators, but they are not less than a ray of hope due to the benefits of treating Corona.
About 220 Coronavirus patients in North America and 83 in Europe are being treated with this machine. Of the 582 discharged, 58 were found to be correct.
Better results from the ventilator
For the latest study, the study team published 32 patients from 9 hospitals in the American Society for Artificial Internal Organ Journal.
Seventeen patients remained on the machine after 24 days, and five patients were extubated. Of these 5, 4 were given steroids, 3 with antiviral therapy, and one person with hydroxychloroquine.
One person was also discharged. Its use can result in 3 times better results than a ventilator.
