Iran Is Preparing for Open War: Iran has openly threatened Israel, saying that any country that will fight Israel Iran will support it. Announcing this on Wednesday, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamani showed his support for Palestine ahead of the annual Quds (Jerusalem) day this week.
Iran Is Preparing for Open War: Iran will support any nation or group that fights Israel.
Khamenei tweeted in English from his official Twitter handle, saying that we will support and assist any country or any group that will oppose and fight against the Zionist regime, and we do not hesitate to say that.
Iran is a staunch enemy of Israel in the Middle East. Iran is also the leading supporter of President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian civil war with Russia.
Iran has been sending military advisors as well as local Shia militias to help President Assad in the Syrian civil war. Israel is keeping a close watch on its neighbor Syria. In recent times, Israel has conducted hundreds of airstrikes in Syria targeting suspected weapons and military movement by Tehran-backed Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas.
At the same time, Khamenei said on Wednesday that Iran’s hostility to Israel is not the same as its hostility toward the Jewish people. In another tweet from his official Twitter handle in Persian, Khamenei said that the abolition of the Israeli government did not mean the extermination of the Jews. We have no problem with the Jewish people.
The tweet further stated that Israel’s elimination meant that Palestine’s Muslims, Christians, and Jews could choose their government for themselves.
It can also drive out foreigners and thugs, such as Netanyahu (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu). Khamenei is scheduled to give a speech on Quds Day on Friday.
