Literal Meaning
Christ died on a cross. We know this for a fact, so how does his blood pay into it? Didn’t most people who hung on crosses die of suffocation?
The suffocation part is true but Jesus died and shed blood on the cross. He shed blood on the nails that were hammered through his nail and feet.
Blood of Jesus – Symbolic Meaning
When Jesus died, he took the place of the lamb that the priests would sacrifice. Instead, Jesus’ blood washes us and makes our sins whiter than blood washes us and makes our sins whiter than snow. The old system of continual sacrifices is not needed anymore.
Once you are a repentant believer, you are covered. Even though you feel confused, think of this as a simple term. The penalty for sin is death, and Jesus paid that penalty once and for all when he was willingly put to death and then resurrected.
You can say this is just to understand our shortcomings and our sins. It’s necessary to know this basis in order to understand that there is nothing more precious than the blood of Jesus. we will never be able to pay the price that is required to be righteous or truly good.
According to Bible,
If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? – Psalm 130:3.
We can make have that assurance that Jesus’ blood wipes our sins away and gives us that fresh slate. His blood frees us from a guilty conscience. (Hebrew 10:22) so that we can start again.
Bible, “Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have the confidence to enter the holiest place by the blood of Jesus, Let us draw near to God. – Hebrew 10:19, 229
Christians believe that we all are part of a beautiful family that’s why they call each other brother and sisters’ that means having an actual relationship as a son or daughter to God.
Can the blood of Jesus be used for protection?
The blood of Jesus is tangible power in both the spiritual and physical realms, and we need to apply it to our lives every day as protection from the enemy. In 1 peter 5:9, we are told to resist the devil by standing firm in our faith. By the blood of the lamb and the word of our situation (revelation 12:11).
The power of the blood of Jesus has provided everything you need to live a life of victory, including redemption, fellowship, healing protection, and authority over the devil.
The Prophesy of the Blood of Jesus
From the very beginning of human history, it is revealed. When Adam and Eve sinned, God shed innocent blood in order to make their clothes from animal skins (Genesis 3:21)
In Genesis four, we read that Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel. They instinctively wanted to worship God. Cain sacrificed the fruit of the ground. Abel had already learned that God demanded blood, so he brought a lamb. God accepted the blood of Abel’s lamb, but he did not accept Cain’s offering. Why? Because “without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin”.
