An ad will be run by Senator Rick Scott R-Florida, in his home state, in which Joe Biden is accused for cheating on taxes and calls for Biden to step down from office and resign.
The ad begins by stating that Biden cut $280 billion from Medicare and planned to hire tens of thousands of IRS agents, then took a personal turn. The ad states that Biden took a personal cut from a $280 billion Medicare, a govt. healthcare program and also plans to hire tens of thousands of IRS agents.
“But what you don’t know is that Joe Biden also cheated on his taxes and got away with it. Biden improperly used a loophole to dodge half a million dollars in taxes that should have gone to Medicare,” the ad pronounced categorically. “Now that Biden has ripped off Medicare for half a million dollars, he wants to close the loophole and raise your taxes.”

Scott then added that Biden should step down from office immediately.
Biden remarked in his State of the Union address that some Republicans wanted to sunset key federal programs, to which GOP lawmakers in the audience responded with shouts of “no” and “liar” on Tuesday evening.
Biden said of the proposal that some Republicans were putting it up to sunset federal programs, though he would not be naming any of them just to be polite.
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) shouted “liar” at the President, all the while House Speaker Kevin McCarthy sat behind Biden on the dais shaking his head solemnly.
Biden and other Democrats have always accused the Republicans of wanting to cut down those programs before the 2022 midterm elections. The basis for the claim are false as the Republicans have insisted. The plan put forward by Scott called for all federal programs to sunset and would require renewal every five years.
Although it was not mentioned categorically in Scott‘s plan, it did include Social Security or Medicare. This context was not provided in Biden’s accusation.
Scott’s proposal was for putting up all federal programs for renewal every five years, as acknowledged by White House spokesman Andrew Bates in his statement to Fox News, but he claimed further that through Senator Scott’s ad congressional Republicans were targeting only Medicare.
Scott’s claims of Biden wanting to add 87,000 IRS agents and cutting down Medicare by $280 billion, have been disputed. Biden had signed legislation providing the IRS with $80 billion over 10 years that the Treasury Department estimated would go towards hiring nearly 87,000 new workers, but it is unclear as to how many of them would be agents.
The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget wrote in August that the Inflation Reduction Act would result in nearly $300 billion in Medicare savings, but it would not cut benefits. But the same group also blasted the White House earlier this week for a recent comment on Social Security and Medicare, after a spokesperson referred to the commission to save the programs as a “death panel.”
Many expect Joe Biden to announce a run for reelection to the White House in 2024. Scott’s calls for Biden to step down from office comes in just before the announcement for rerun could be made by the existing President.
