Amway Center Parking Guide – Maps, Deals, and Tips

An indoor arena named Amway Center is located in Downtown Orlando, Florida. It was opened on 29th September 2010, and the first concert held here was by Vicente Fernández on 8th October 2010. On 10th October, the Orlando magic first held their preseason game against the New Orleans Hornets.

Since its opening, it has hosted countless events, including NBA All-Star Weekend, NCAA March Madness, and Wrestlemania 33. Besides hosting many events, it serves as a home to the Orlando Magic of the NBA, the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, and the Orlando Predators of the National Arena League. It has a seating capacity of 18,846 and can be extended up to 20,000. Amway Center has a miscellany of mid-level luxury seats, clubs, seating concourses, bathrooms, and stores.

Amway Center Official Parking Options

GEICO Garage, located at 400 West South St., and Church Street Garage, located at 150 South Hughey Avenue, are the two garages next to the Amway Center that serves as the official parking option.

Tailgating at Amway Center

According to the center parking rules, tailgating is not allowed at Amway Center.

However, some selected lots, such as W. Jackson Street Lot, allow it. Orlando Magic Fan Fest is located in the arena and offers live music, prizes, interactive games, beverages, and food. It opens two hours before the game kicks off.

Amway Center Handicap Parking

The GICEO garage offers parking for the disabled. The fans can get to the GICEO via the fifth-floor GEICO Gateway pedestrian bridge. It joins the Amway Center’s Terrace Level.

Besides, you can also park in lot 9. Besides, you can also find a parking garage lot in downtown Orlando.

These parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. So, try to reach the venue before the game kicks off.
