Indonesian village recruits ghosts: Corona has led to the foreclosure of governments in many countries of the world. Despite this, there are many places where people break the rules indiscriminately and roam the streets comfortably without any fear.
In this way, various measures are taken to get people to follow the rules of isolation so that people stay at home. Such a measure was taken in the village of Kepuh in the province of Java in Indonesia, which is very unique. Here, the administration has used “ghosts” to solve this problem.
The village chief says that many people here are not aware of the lockout, so they don’t obey the rules. In such a situation, when the police arrived at the administration, they forced some people to wear white clothes like ghosts and sat in front of the area.
Indonesian village recruits ghosts to scare people into staying at home
Whenever a villager leaves the house at night, these “ghosts” scare them and force them to go home. This unique idea was given to the administration by young people from the region.
Locals call ghosts as “Pokong”. He is also called an Indonesian ghost. The souls of the dead are believed to roam the streets like Pokong wearing white clothes.
However, now this unique administration campaign seems to be failing because now people have learned about it, so they are leaving their homes to see “Pokong.”
A similar campaign was waged in Ukraine, but the method here is completely different. Six hundred graves have been dug in the town of Nipro to create fear among people, and it is reported that those who died from the Coronavirus will be buried here.
The city’s mayor, Bores Filatov, himself confirmed this in his Facebook message. However, to date, only 13 cases have been reported to Nipro, none of which has died.
Let’s say that to date, a lakh of 20,000 people have died from coronavirus infection while more than 19 lakh people are infected. On the other hand, if you are talking about Indonesia, then 400 people died here because of this virus while many people are infected.
